Yohannes Giorgise, born in Ethiopia, left his homeland at 24 to escape a brutal dictator.  He left his family behind and escaped to Sudan on foot as a refuge.  Applying for political asylum, he was accepted to come to the United States sponsored by church groups.  Upon his arrival in Los Angeles, he began supporting himself, working nights and attending school during the day.  He worked in the medical field after finishing school.  Always interested in real estate and fascinated with people, Yohannes became REALTOR to help others become a home owner like himself.  Married with five beautiful children, his interests are spending time with family, reading and playing  soccer.  Yohannes is multi-lingual speaking English, Amharic and some Arabic.
