A Sacramento native, Carolyn Carr lives in the same Land Park home she lived in as a child. She attended California Junior High School, C.K. McClatchy High School and later Occidental College. Carolyn holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley and a Life Teaching Credential from California State University, Sacramento.

She has two grown daughters and four grand children. Carolyn says she is a “Hands on Grandma, who gets in the grass and looks for frogs, finger paints, bicycles, hikes and sings songs.”

Carolyn obtained her Washington State real estate license in 1987 and later became an area Broker. She was President of the Southeast King County Council, Association of Realtors® in 1994 and 1995. Her association with Cook Realty began in 1997.

Carolyn’s passion is world travel. During a recent vacation she took a helicopter trip out of Juno, Alaska to the Mendenhall Glacier.

As a member of the Rotary Club of Sacramento she does service work which benefits local children’s charities and the World Wide Polio Plus Campaign and the Wheelchair Foundation.

A compassionate person with a great sense of humor, Carolyn makes buying and selling a home a pleasant adventure. She says, “I will go to the ends of the earth for my clients.”
