Sacramento is a great place to live…I should know since I grew up here. I went to Bear Flag, Sam Brannon and John F Kennedy. I have lived in the Pocket area most of my life.
My college life consisted of a Full Ride Swimming Scholarship to the University of Arkansas and then graduated from California State University , Sacramento with a degree in Communication.
I continued my education by going to work with my dad, Jerry Schwindt (another Cook agent). I worked my way up in my Dad’s carpet store from cleaning toilets, to receptionist to accounts payable to advertising director.
The next few years brought many changes. I got married to Frank Roepke, moved to Salt Lake City and then to Scottsdale Arizona . During those years I worked for American Express in the New Accounts and Small Business areas. I worked my way up from Data Entry, to Credit Analyst to Team Leader in just 2 years.
After moving back to Sacramento I opened my own summer business, which I still have. I am a swimming instructor to children, teens and adults.
I have provided excellent customer service throughout my life and career. I have learned to listen to customers, solve problems and make the customer happy.
These last few years have been focused on my husband and children. I volunteer at schools, swim teams, baseball team, and soccer teams. Now with both children in school full time, I have time to pursue a wonderful career in real estate at Cook Realty.
