Wendy Weir is a 1972 graduate (BS in Business Marketing) of Chico State University. She spent 10 years in the Retail sales business, followed by over 20 years with Pacific Telephone and its successors, including SBC. Wendy had a variety of jobs with SBC, the last of which was Project Manager; having managed large data installation projects for many local clients, including both Sacramento Unified and San Juan Unified. She retired in 2000 from SBC, and has been with Cook Realty since then. Wendy works with buyers and sellers in the Greater Sacramento area, and lives in the Pocket area of Sacramento. She and her husband, Evan (a long time teacher at Kennedy High School) have raised their son there.
