I was born in London, England and lived in the Midlands and Wales before immigrating to the United States when I was 13. I have lived in Sacramento for the last 18 years.
Before becoming a Realtor I managed an art and community center. Since the building was over 80,000 sq. ft. and 60 years old, I learned a lot about construction and maintenance. I have also managed a theatre, tailored men’s suits and worked as a theatrical costumer.
In the past 10 years I have acquired and rehabbed eight properties. This pathological need to acquire and restore property is inherited. My grandparents and parents moved around England purchasing property (including a vicarage and a country squire’s manor house), renovating and moving again.
Years of non-profit management working for a board of directors taught me how to work with a wide variety of people. I learned to anticipate and prepare for situations. My theatre experience taught me to look for creative solutions to problems and great people skills. I also pride myself on attention to detail and keeping all parties informed. Using all these abilities and persistence have contributed to making me a successful Realtor at your service.
